The NHS has set out its ambition and plan to reduce the environmental impact of the delivery of health and care services and reach net zero carbon emissions by 2040. Suppliers to the NHS will need to be prepared to have their carbon footprint analysed.

The region is extremely active in the environmental sustainability space.

All NHS Trusts and the NENC ICB (Integrated Care Board) have Green Plans. There are partnerships locally, regionally and nationally within NHS partners and industry stakeholders to explore where we add the most value.
