Basic research is fundamental to discovering new medical and system innovations.
We work with NHS and industry innovators to discover potential solutions to existing challenges which can be translated into clinical practice. This provides the initial stage of idea assessment where ideas are harnessed and can be developed into truly innovative solutions to areas of unmet needs.
Collaborating with industry, academics and clinicians, we help provide a defined process, brokering knowledge to facilitate the efficient and effective identification of innovative concepts. These can then be progressed through our Innovation Pathway.
