Overview
Samson Forth Associates is an engineering design and consultancy business which utilises its extensive experience across a wide range of industries to help other SME’s, NHS Trusts or practitioners to develop ideas and concepts into well engineered mechanical or structural based products.
Our team is currently working with two Trusts within the Norh East of England developing concepts and initial prototypes into optimised designs for cost effective manufacture focusing on the patient needs, cost saving benefits of the device and longer-term net zero targets.
We have access to a local supply chain with fabrication, upholstery, machining, painting, etc. all locally sourced as well as undertaking 3D printing internally.

Support we offer
We are able to offer engineering support such as provision of third party verification services, Computer Aided Design, product development including prototyping and procurement for manufacture.
Our aim is to help those with an interesting idea turn it into a commercial project with our team providing engineering and manufacturing input into the product.
Eligibility criteria
We are happy to work with other SME’s, trusts or health innovators and are currently working with two NE NHS Trusts supporting them with the development of their products.
