NHS Business Service Authority
Overview
The NHS Business Services Authority is an Arm’s Length Body of the Department of Health and Social Care. We manage over £35 billion of NHS spend annually, delivering a range of national services to NHS organisations, NHS contractors, patients and the public. Our purpose is to be a catalyst for better health and our vision is to be the delivery partner of choice for the NHS.
The NHS BSA hosts a number of key NHS services including NHS Pensions, NHS Jobs, NHS Prescription Services, NHS Dental services and HR Shared Services. We are an arm’s length body focused on supporting the delivery of both key patient facing and workforce enabling services. Our remit is national, and we are aligned with other NHS key providers as well as DHSC and NHSE.
As an organisation, we are able to provide innovators with guidance and expert knowledge from across our core services as well as support with feedback from our Subject Matter Experts and internal networks.
